staff pages

I want to get all of the staff pages changed over to display all of the episodes that they've worked on without having to go through the category pages, i have 2 methods that currently work the first is here the second is here, the second one has a css issue that's making the links not be blue but i'm sure i can fix that up. Let me know what you think, or if you have a totally different idea in mind, i'm open to suggestions Reddo 04:23, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

CSS issue making links appear black and a few other minor things have bee fixed, any thoughts? Reddo 04:35, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

I really like number two. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 06:04, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
So I put the test template on Katie Leigh and it didn't work with the characters and episodes. Nothing shows up. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 16:14, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
That's bceause the template only shows written and directed episodes right now. Erwin Springer [talk] 22:24, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
yeah, i didn't want to spend lots of time making the template complete only to find that no one liked the design of it so i only did 2 sections to start with Reddo 08:51, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
okay, i've updated the number of tabs in the template, here is the list as it stands now:
 • Written
 • Directed
 • Produced
 • Executive Produced
 • Music
 • Acting
 • Sound Design
 • Characters
 • Books
are there anymore that we can think of to add? also what do people think about how it looks? I can change it if we want other colors and backgrounds for it Reddo 18:33, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Add albums, podcasts, and videos. Erwin Springer [talk] 23:43, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
what do you mean by albums? Reddo 00:02, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Album covers drawn. Also, the bullets aren't aligned in IE, as seen File:StaffepisodesIE8RC1.png, hereErwin Springer [talk] 19:23, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

As far as the characters go, many of the them are so minor that one would never be able to recollect which character was in what episode. As far episodes go, if one simply looked at a list of all the episodes a certain actor was in, one would never be able to tell what character the actor played in that episode. Is there any way to show which episode each character was in or to show which character any one actor played in an episode?
We could do it like this:
Page: Andre Stojka
Section: Work
Tab: Characters

(this is how it could show up:)

Or we could combine the the characters tab and the episodes tab and display it in some sort of table ....

Example
Characters Episodes
William Brewster Stepping Stones, Part 1
Stepping Stones, Part 2
John Whittaker Passages: Darien's Rise, Part 1
Passages: Darien's Rise, Part 2
Passages: Darien's Rise, Part 3
Passages: Darien's Rise, Part 4
Passages: Darien's Rise, Part 5
Passages: Darien's Rise, Part 6
Passages: Darien's Rise, Part 7
Passages: Darien's Rise, Part 8
Passages: Darien's Rise, Part 9

Of couse all of this would depend whether or not it could be done. I'm not very smart when it comes to templates and stuff like that so I honestly don't know if it is actually a feasible plan or not. It also depends on what you guys think. MarvelousMarvin 05:04, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Family Portraits title fixes

Of all of the Family Portraits episodes, the following were not remade under the same title:

I think that it may be better to move those pages to titles which don't contain "(FP)", as the ending is only needed for clarification with FP episodes which have an AIO or OUSA counterpart. Erwin Springer [talk] 02:52, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

And In Memory of Herman (FP)? Odyssey123 17:46, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
Oops, you're right, that one as well...I'll move the pages soon if there are no objections. Erwin Springer [talk] 21:49, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

2004 Tyndale Repackaging

Are there any plans to add the original Tommy-Nelson CD covers to album pages and/or album art changes? Albums 16-41 were repackaged by Tyndale in 2004 and most of those albums received different coloring schemes and changes to the artwork. aiolib.com is currently the only site I know of to show both versions. Aiowiki only has the new 2004 covers and none of the original releases as far as I know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Odyssey123 (talkcontribs)

At some point we tried to get organized and create a naming scheme for all album art images, but we never really finished...I just created a page that may help us, found here. Erwin Springer [talk] 03:47, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

Image Categories Clean-up

I'm going to be working on re-categorizing all of the album images. The categories I'm thinking of creating are:

 • 3D Album Covers
 • Album Front Covers
 • Album Back Covers
 • Series Album Front Covers
 • Series Album Back Covers
 • Old Album Front Covers
 • Old Album Back Covers
 • Tape Album Front Covers
 • Tape Album Back Covers

I've also started adding Image Redirects to all of the album image redirects so that I (or we) can eventually work through the list and change all of the links to the redirects to the new album image naming system. And while I'm doing that I'll consistantly name the images in the album art galleries.

Any suggestions are welcome! --Eugene 18:48, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

It would be great to see a distinction in the "Old Album Covers" between original releases and the 2004 Tyndale re-releases. Just in case the originals get added in the future. Odyssey123 08:16, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

cache

just to let you know in an effort to make the wiki faster i've changed the cache settings, let me know if you see anything that seems off or different, or if you notice it being at all faster, thanks Reddo 22:24, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

So far I haven't seen anything unusual. It seems to be a bit faster, but not a whole lot. What else could be done to make it faster? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 01:50, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
It's working better for me. But I'm seeing Error 500 if I load more than two pages at once in different tabs. It's not a big deal, though. --— Eugene [talk] 02:24, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
I've recieved the same result as Eugene. Erwin Springer [talk] 03:39, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
Just to let you know, I've been running into the Error 500 more and more often lately. And it takes almost a whole minute to load a page. — Eugene [talk] 21:05, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
hmm, okay thanks, i haven't got that error too much lately, I'll try changing things, there must be something that we can do to speed up the site Reddo 21:13, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Did you do something? I haven't seen Error 500 for the past fifteen minutes. But it still takes a little while to load a page. — Eugene [talk] 22:02, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
You're right, I did do something, I made some space on our server to act as a caching server for non-logged in users, it should speed up the annoynmous browsing a lot and speed up logged in browsing some too, I also changed a few lines of code to try and get rid of the error 500. Let me know if you notice any changed both logged in and logged out Reddo 22:59, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
P.S. Eugene that error that you got that made you delete your comment happened right when I accidentally put the old code back up, the one that was causing the error before, I've since put the new caching code up and the 500's should dissappear like the did before

Yeah, it's actually working much better now. I can load pages without Error 500 appearing anymore! Yay! The speed is still a little slow, but it has improved. I haven't tried it while logged-out yet, though. Thanks for your work, Reddo! — Eugene [talk] 00:02, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

I still recieve the following two errors. Erwin Springer [talk] 01:11, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, it's back for me as well. It was working great for a while there. The pages were loading really fast and I never saw Error 500. Maybe it has to do with the server type or speed? — Eugene [talk] 01:26, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
that theme bug, not sure what's going on with that but it's from an extension, one that the creators site is down so I can't find a fix for it, the other one I've investigated and think it comes from a corrupt version of php. I'm talking with shadowpaw about how to fix it, anyways I'll post news when I have it, I appreciate the speed and error reporting, keep me updated with it Reddo 03:38, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
I just got this after editing Album 47: Into the Light:
Hi, we hope you're enjoying AIOwiki

It seems that we've come encountered an error, to return to the mainpage click here
It cleared as soon as I refreshed the page, but I thought I'd let you know that I got a different error page. — Eugene [talk] 04:41, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
okay, thanks, i just made that page as a test, it's my version of the internal error page, I hope to make it prettier yet and add a link to just refresh the page yet too, but it comes from the same error as before, which I believe to be due to a corrupt installation of PHP, but that's an ongoing investigation Reddo 04:52, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
When I got on to the wiki a few minutes ago, it loaded a LOT faster. What ever you did Reddo, it must have helped! AIOCREFan 22:06, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, so far it's working really well. I haven't seen any errors and it's loading way faster. Thanks, Reddo! — Eugene [talk] 17:21, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, to say I haven't had such luck I have had the error message about 8 times until I got on the page. It has never done it this many times. Stop Wooton Around 22:56, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

"Free AIO"

Because of its controversial nature, should we even have "Free AIO" listed here? Erwin Springer [talk] 02:40, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

I'd say no, I deleted the article on it a while back Reddo 02:58, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
I agree with the decision to delete the aticle. However, I still think it's okay to have it listed because those who look hard enough to find it, which is very few people who're gonna see that link, kind of deserve to see those links. Besides, every single AIO episode is on you tube anyays. MarvelousMarvin 03:20, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Okay, so we'll get rid of any appearences what soever of it. I just have one question. Why didn't you guys decide to do this when the information was first added? MarvelousMarvin 15:53, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Theme

I would like to come up with a more specific way to display the theme on the episode pages. I would like to use the Official Guide as the resouce for the themes for each episode. But there is a problem. If we used the Official Guide as a resource, than we would have way too many themes in the Category:Epsisodes by theme|episode by theme category, making it hard too find episodes by theme. To be perfectly honest we already do have too many themes in that category. So, I have thought about it and I beleive that there is a way we could display the same theme on the episode pages as in the official guide and shorten the episodes by theme at the same time. In the episode infobox for Accidental Dilemma, Part 1, we would replace this text: | theme= God's protection with this text: | gen_theme = God's protection (gen ofr general) and add this text: | theme = Good triumphs over evil. In the information box type it out like this:

| gen_theme = God's protection
| theme = Good triumphs over evil

On the episode page, display the theme just like it is now. Also on the episode page, display the category theme just like the theme is now displayed. The category theme would place the episode in the category, episodes by category theme. If all the episodes were added to the category theme category, that category would be no longer than the one on whitsend.org which we would use as a resource for what the category theme for each episode would be. The theme category would be a more specific way of categorizing the episodes by theme. It should look something similar to the Theme index on page 547 of the official guide. I explained this the best I can. Have I made any sense? Any thoughts? MarvelousMarvin 16:46, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Sounds like a good idea, but someone would need to go through and organize all of these themes. Erwin Springer [talk] 20:22, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
It can't be done with a bot? I was hoping that it could. If it can't I was hoping that some one would volenteer for the job because I don't have a fast enough computer and internet connection to get anything done in any amount of time. I'm also kind of trying to work on updating and completing the album 50 section of the wiki before album 51 airs. So doing the theme project would be quite a setback for me. Any volenteers ofr the the project? MarvelousMarvin 05:43, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Would it be better to change the word category to general to avoid confusion? MarvelousMarvin 14:59, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Okay so I went ahead and changed it. I think that a project this large requires a temorary fix so here's my solution: I'm compiling a list of the themes with the episode titles under the name of the its respective theme. (though come to think of it the list is rather long). When I'm finished I say we use that as are temporary section for episodes by theme. I'm not sure if we'd place all this text on the episodes by theme page or if we'd create a different page for this fix. Then we can start working on changing the themes over to the correct format on each episode page. (That's about 650 episode pages: a lot of work :) But this would mean that we wouldn't be so rushed on the project so there would be less pressure on anyone. I can go ahead and take care of the album 50 episode pages so if someone would make the needed changes to the infobox episode template that would be appreciated.
All right, so again, here's what we would be doing: using the official site as a resource enter the text "| gen_theme = place the general theme here" in the episode info box. Then using the official guide as a resource place the text "| theme = 'enter specific theme hear" in the infobox as well. For the general theme, disreguard whatever the theme is currently is; simply use the official site to determine the general theme. For the specific theme, if there are more themes in the infobox than in the official guide, simply leave the extra themes as they are, just make sure to incude the theme from the official guide. After the necessary changes are made to the infobox, typing in the general theme on an episode page should automatically add that episode to a category titled Category: Episodes by general theme. Typing in the theme in the infobox on an episode page should continue to automatically add that episode to the category titled, Category: Episodes by theme.
After the project of changing the themes is all done, we should create a more attractive way to display the episodes with a certain theme. My thinking was that instead of linking the sidebar to Category: Episodes by theme or Category: Episodes by general theme, link it to a page titled Themes. On that page we could somehow transclude the general themes on to that page so that the page wouldn't contain this text for every theme: Episodes with theme of. That way you would only see the actual themes on the page. That would difinitly make it look better. Anyays that's way off in the future. We still have to chage the text in the info boxes for 642+ episodes. And to do that I still have to compile a list of the themes with the episode titles. Photos

Album 03: Heroes was re-released in January. So why do we still have the The Gold Audio Series cover? Also, does anyone know when we will get hi-res pictures of the new characters and the new looks of Whit, Connie, and Eugene? AIOCREFan 22:04, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

I don't think has the new album three art or album has been released yet looking at book distributors' websites. As for the characters, I've uploaded crops of the art from the podcast, but I doubt high resolution images will be released for a while. Erwin Springer [talk] 22:20, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Where are you seeing new album art for album 3? We should get the high-res images of the characters soon. Reddo's working on it. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 02:14, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
What do you mean by he's working on it? Did he email Nathan and try to get the images? Because I finally ran out of patience and emailed whitsend.org about it asking for the images. I should get a reply tomorrow morning. MarvelousMarvin 03:58, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
He emailed his contact at Focus this morning. (Which I don't think is Nathan) I highly doubt that whitsend.org is going to give you the character images. Just be patient, we should get them soon. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 06:23, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
You're right they probably won't, but I thought it would be worth a shot. And I did it before I knew that Reddo was working on getting the images. Make sure he get's the ones of each of the Parker family along with Emily Jones and Red Hollard. MarvelousMarvin 14:55, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
We should be able to get all of 'em. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 17:22, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Congratulations on your achieving 3,000 edits! I know your have been working towards that for a while. So I've been thinking about this, and I don't see any easy solution. What shall we do about the logo, now that there have been new graphics released for the logo, and characters? We don't want to be seen with outdated logos and character pictures... anyone have ideas? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 06:16, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

Well as far as the logo goes I don't see any reason to change it until the next contest. It wouldn't be fare to the guy who created it in the first place. As far as character art goes, I got an email from Brock Eastman (in response to the whitsend.org email mentioned above) giving me the high-resolution pictures of the new characters. But there's only one problem. We can't post them. Yup. That's Right. He sent me the high resolution pictures on accident. He then sent me an email with small resolution pictures asking me not to post the large resolution ones but only the small ones. Problem: the low resolution are to small to put on character pages in my opinion. Click (Image:Whit sm.jpg) here to see the picture of Whit. I emailed him back to asking him if we could use something in between the low resolution and high resolution sizes that he sent me. I'm waiting for his reply. MarvelousMarvin 17:05, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
Why don't we wait until word from Reddo. I agree, that is too small. Last time though, they let us upload the high resolution ones. We'll see. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 07:15, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
sorry for not being here to post sooner but I was on a 4 day holiday with my family and didn't have internet access, all i got from brock was the small images like the one of whit that was already posted Reddo 07:53, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
I asked Brock if we we could have images halfway in between the high and low resolution, and he said no. These are the resolutions they want on websites and would rather they not be any bigger. Reddo, do you think that there's any chance of getting higher resolution picutures sometime in the future? MarvelousMarvin 15:16, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Om antoher note, Nate, you could go ahead and incorperate the new character art into the welcome logo. MarvelousMarvin 15:20, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
I say that we keep both images that we have now. Eugene could redesign his image, but then new wouldn't be fair to use as it wasn't voted on. Just we patient until next year. Erwin Springer [talk] 23:21, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Couldn't Eugene just take te new logo and put it in the same way as the old one, it does make us seem alittle out-dated! Glman 22:37, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

Other Focus on the Family Dramas

As of now, the Focus dramas "Gone Fishing", "House Guest", and "Spare Tire" are the only ones on the wiki. These were the only three included as bonus features in the albums, but there were at least several others from the same time period. I know there's at least "Tilly" and "A More Perfect Union" from around 1987, which also have some of the same writers/cast as Adventures in Odyssey. What do you think about adding more of these to the wiki? (Tilly is up on the podcast for a few more weeks as a free download) Odyssey123 21:28, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

From what I understand "Gone Fishing", "House Guest", and "Spare Tire" where the beginnings of Odyssey. If we add other dramas because they have some of the same staff we would have to add like the Chonicles of Narina drama series which has nothing to do with odyssey. But this is just my opinion. Stop Wooton Around 22:13, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
If it relates to or overlaps with AIO then add it, otherwise don't. Erwin Springer [talk] 23:21, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Infoboxes

So what does everybody think about having an infobox template, like wikipedia does? it would make it much easier to make changes to all of the infoboxes. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 01:30, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

I like the ones we have better than wikipedia infoboxes. Erwin Springer [talk] 23:20, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

New Episode Newsitems

I think we should standardize the newsitems for new episodes each week. Here's a working model:

Erwin Springer [talk] 03:58, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

I think it's a good idea, I added a little more to it Reddo 05:16, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Why do the new episode news items need to be standardized? In my opinion doing that makes our newitems boring, totally stale and cold, and downright ignorant. Anyone who sees those news items already knows that those new shows are airing; why have a short little sentence reminding the visitors of something they already know? I think that if you want to post news items about new episodes, than they should be more personal and freindly. They should include at least three things: the preview of the episode, a link to listen to it, and a link to the episode page where you can rate the episode and fill in the information. And it should NOT be the same every week, because then people tend to ignore the news items. I think editors on AIOWiki should ask them selves these three questions: Are the newitems promoting AIOWiki? Can they be made better? Do they give people a reason to return to the the site? And most importantly, are the news items original? Or are we just copying the occasional post off the Odyssey Scoop? It has been said many times by multiple editors that the AIOWiki news itmes are in need of improvement. In desparete need if you ask me. But, if you can give me five people who come AIOWiki because they like the news items, than I'll say that the news items are just fine. Otherwise, now is the time to make them better. MarvelousMarvin 21:15, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
You do bring up a good point. I didn't think about that aspect; sounds like a good idea. Erwin Springer [talk] 01:01, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

What happened to the about page? It is no longer linked to at the bottom of the the website. MarvelousMarvin 21:19, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

I removed it to put the RSS there, but it can be brought back if there is demand for it. Erwin Springer [talk] 00:59, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
No, I don't think that there is a demand for it right now. It could only be edited by administrators anyways. But if I decide to write up a longer article in the future, I'll let you know. :) MarvelousMarvin 01:11, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Episode Cover Images

I noticed that someone added code to the Infobox Episode Information template that will automatically add the album image to an episode page. So my question is, will we be leaving out the album_image tag from now on? And if so, should I remove the tag when editing an episode page? — Eugene [talk] 18:37, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

It will only show up automatically for normal series episodes. The album_image tag overrides the automatic image. So you can go ahead and delete that tag from the normal episodes if you want. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 22:38, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

Episode Question

I was going through the episodes and noticed that the plot for the episode "The Family Next Door" sounds a lot like the plot for "My Favorite Thing". Since I have never heard this episode and I don't own Album 47, I can't check the facts on this. Can someone else please check this out? — Eugene [talk] 20:08, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Nope, those are the proper descriptions. The Family Next Door is mainly about Mandy, whereas My Favorite Thing is about the Washingtons and the Rathbones. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 20:29, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, I meant the plot. In both of them it says that the Washingtons are going out for dinner at a fancy restaurant to celebrate Elaine's birthday. — Eugene [talk] 20:43, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
Oh, you're right. I didn't see that. I might be able to write a couple paragraph description of both episodes later today, unless someone else wants to do it sooner. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 21:26, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Album 51 ships when?

So it's march. The New re leases Template still says that you have to preorder the album 51. Does anyone know when album 51 ships? MarvelousMarvin 02:56, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

I'm not sure, it doesn't appear that there's any kind of pre-order link at CBD, but there is everywhere else. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 05:18, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
On most products on CBD, under "Availability:" it says "In Stock". But on the album 51 page, it says "Available to ship on or about 04/13/10." I don't know how accurate that is though. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 15:12, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Themes

Hey i was looking at the schemes (for the website) and Monoco and LocalSetting Don't work! thx. Glman 22:46, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I think we should remove extraneous themes, if psssible, as some things (infoboxes, ratings, episode lists etc.) don't display correctly. Erwin Springer [talk] 23:37, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
thanks, that was an experiment that didn't work and i forgot about, those two have since been removed Reddo 18:40, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

BTV or B-TV

Should it be BTV or B-TV? On the aiowiki it is BTV but on the backs of the albums it's B-TV. The official guide also spells it with a dash in the middle. Thanks! Stop Wooton Around 12:10, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

You know what's funny? I was just going to ask this same question. Anywho, I think that we should go with B-TV since that's the way it's spelled in the guide. — Eugene [talk] 15:18, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
I think that we have it spelt that way because of AIOHQ, however if the Official Guide includes the dash, we should as well. (Note that that would require us to move episode pages and fix schedule pages as well.) Erwin Springer [talk] 22:17, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
You wouldn't have to move the page would you? Couldn't you just rederdict the page (BTV) to B-TV and create a new page with B-TV?

P.S. BTW: what are we going to do about LCD categories. Should we use the old template or make new templates with LCD. Stop Wooton Around 22:26, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

For all of the BTV episodes you need to fix the schedule pages though. Erwin Springer [talk] 03:56, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
All of the individual schedule pages (i.e. Schedule:2010-03-10) which contain the BTV link, need to be changed to B-TV.

Main Page

I hope it's not my computer but thier something seriously wrong with the Main Page. Everything is on the right side of the page and some stuff is hidden. MarvelousMarvin 21:51, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

I'm not seeing anything, take a screenshot and let us know what version of your browser you're using. Erwin Springer [talk] 01:24, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Warning

I got this warning while editing this page: Warning: This page is 30 kilobytes long; some browsers may have problems editing pages approaching or longer than 32kb. Please consider breaking the page into smaller sections. I think it might be time to archive the town hall again. AIOCREFan 00:28, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

I just archived it a little while ago...we should be fine unless the page becomes extremely long. Erwin Springer [talk] 01:26, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
any modern browser should be able to be more than fine with 32kb of text, and besides that there isn't much reason to edit this page all at once, you can edit each section individually and if you want to add a new topic to it just click the new section link at the top of the page Reddo 08:47, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Audible links

I have been working on the Audible links but I have a problem now. After album 38 the links are only for the albums not the individual episodes. Should I have the same link number for every single episode in that album? Or should the album template be changed so that some of them can have audible links?

BTW: The list has been cut down from 635 to about 291. I still have 49 links I can put on which I'm doing. Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 17:35, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

i'd say put the album link on, we should do that for all episodes to have the itunes album link too if there specific episode isn't available Reddo 21:09, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Check.svg Done I have completed all that are on audible. There is still 99 that are not on audible.com. The list was 635 when I started. Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 00:27, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

The New Album

Hey, I have a message for the founder of this website or his helpers. I just got the new album from a store, and I have the reviews on the rest of the episodes etc., so if that person wants that info, post a common here, i would be HAPPY to help. Connielover101 01:18, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

You really have album 51? Please provide much info! Erwin Springer [talk] 01:53, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
Really? I talked to FOTF and they said they aren't shipping until the end of this month. So that's really cool! God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 03:20, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

I was thinking Connie or Wooton. AriaCurzonFan 08:50, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
wait, i'm confused, does anybody get married in 51 or not? Reddo 08:53, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah. on one of the offical podcasts, they said that someone almost gets married. AriaCurzonFan 08:56, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
I figured out who gets married!! Here: http://www.aiowiki.com/wiki/Grandma%27s_Visit AriaCurzonFan 09:56, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
Could you provide casts lists, or at least the info that Chris announces at the end? Erwin Springer [talk] 16:44, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

ya, i got it at a local family christian store. its the parker families aunt that almost gets married in the Parkers own house! It is really cool! It has a matchmaker episode with the Jones family and the Jubilee singers episode is kind of a historical episode. I will give you more info later-including reviews. Meanwhile, you can post more questions here! 173.23.197.14 18:36, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Here are the rewiews for the episodes you didn't have them for:

Uploading a Picture

I was wanting to put a picture on a character's page, but I can't figure out how. AriaCurzonFan 08:44, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Go to Special:Upload and upload your picture with the name firstlast.png (e.g. johnwhittaker.png). Then on the character page's infobox, put in the | image = section, put the file name that you uploaded. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 14:19, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Album 51 episodes

should we wait until all the episodes have aired, or should we remove the not released note now because the album is available for purchase. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 20:03, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Wait until the episode has aired! Erwin Springer [talk] 20:35, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Game for a Mystery cast

I need help figuring out how to spell the cast names for game for a mystery. I've uploaded the ending, and you can listen below. I already put in the production crew. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 16:56, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

File:Game For A Mystery Ending.mp3
Here is some of them: Andy Pessoa, Joel McCrary, Georgina Cordova. Hope it helps! AriaCurzonFan 06:46, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
Cool, the only other one that we need is the actor of Emily Jones. It's something like Cristina Pachelli. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 00:04, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
here u go! Cristina Pucelli AriaCurzonFan 18:09, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
By the way, I put her name in on the episode/character pages. AriaCurzonFan 17:30, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Barrett Jones

I made a new page on Barrett Jones, but I can't figure out how to put in what episodes he's in. could you help? or maybe could you just do it for me? AriaCurzonFan 13:38, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

All of the character and actor pages have the episodes listed automatically with a dpl. If everything is done right, it will show up automatically, though sometimes it takes a bit for it to do so. I'll take a look at it later, but I'm busy right now. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 15:07, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. Hope I didn't mess up anything. :-( AriaCurzonFan 15:43, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
no you didn't it's all fine, there was just spelling errors and things on the episode pages, like Barret instead of Barrett, all fixed now though 17:26, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

Live Show

For the last live show, how did you (plural) get in? Is there gonna be another? Do you have to pay? AriaCurzonFan 19:32, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

Well you need to get to Colorado some how (or wherever they have it), and have a ticket. It's like a concert. There probably will eventually be another, although I don't think in the near future. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 00:32, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Album Ratings

How are album ratings computed? Something seems wrong with the Album 24 rating. Odyssey123 18:46, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

just the average of all the episodes in that album, reddobot updates them about once a week, they used to be generated in real time but that was starting to really slow down the server Reddo 19:13, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

Target of the Week cast

Again I need some help with cast name spelling, and what character they played.

File:Target of the Week Ending.mp3

I came up with this but the spelling probably needs to be fixed:

 • Coach Chang Fang: Matt Yang King
 • Ken Blaylock: Alex Palenskae
 • Bonnie (a): Unknown (she only has one line)
 • Jay (a): Whit Hertford

We might just have to wait until the episode has aired, or someone who owns the album could help.
Also, how do you guys think you spell the names:

File:Coach chang fang ken blaylock.mp3

God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 00:09, 18 March 2010 (UTC

Actor names you can usually look up somewhere like wikipedia or imdb. As for character names, if they aren't mentioned on the official site then spell them however you want. Erwin Springer [talk] 15:40, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Wooton Bassett

I put the new picture of Wooton that's on the front page on his page. Was that ok? AriaCurzonFan 18:41, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Yep, that's completely fine. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 21:24, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Themes

If there is a theme or themes in the Official Guide for a episode shoulde it be added? If so should they be changed to the ones in the Official Guide. For instance on the page Whit's Flop it currently says 'Failure' but the Official Guide says 'The Importance of failure'. Or does it just depend what it says? Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 23:30, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

We decided a while ago to simplify themes as much as possible, so it should be just "Failure". Erwin Springer [talk] 18:12, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

User page

On American Eagle's user page, he has charts and things like that. How do you make it? AriaCurzonFan 14:35, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

You can make tables here in either wikitext or html. You can use w:Help:Table as a guide. Erwin Springer [talk] 18:10, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Wow! Um, I'm not so good with all that! Is there a easier way? I like computers, but I only know the basics! AriaCurzonFan 19:35, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Album Promos

Is there anyway we could post multiple promos on an album page? (Ex. Album 51) AIOCREFan 20:41, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

All promos are in the episode list currently, if that's what you mean. Erwin Springer [talk] 03:13, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
I think what you're talking about is having multiple in the infobox, right? It could be done very easily, but I don't think it would look very good, and really the promos are the same, just added on a little bit. I think we should stick with using the longest one. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 03:55, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
I agree, it could be done but I don't think it would look very good to have 4 different promos in the infobox, IMO the best idea is to put the longest one in there and then put other ones in the notes section or something Reddo 18:21, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
