Wooton's Episodes

Why does The Other Side of the Glass, Part 1&2 show up first in the list of Episodes with Wooton Basset? God Bless ~ Natedude24~ My Talk 05:19, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

wrong sort key, I fixed it, if anybody wants to, the sort key can be removed from all of the cast box templates, part of the episode info box changes the default sort key to be the ep num and that will carry through to all of the cast categories. It should solve all the problems like this instead of us having to go and check each one, I would do it myself but I'm currently in a hotel room with a weak internet connection Reddo 06:02, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
To do that though we would have to remove the sort key out of the cast infoboxes otherwise it willl look for the "ep_num" parameter. Erwin Springer [talk] 15:29, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Quotes

All episodes should currently have quote sections. Erwin Springer [talk] 14:40, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Great work. Dr. Bluegaard 15:06, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
One line of code, and the bot does it for me. :) Erwin Springer [talk] 17:04, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I was gonna say... Thanks Erwinbot! God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk
Alright everybody, I've found my niche! (More like something I know how to do) I am making all of the quotes so that they appear the same way: first name, with a link to the character page (only the first time their name appears in the quote) and a colon after the name. Dr. Bluegaard 02:47, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Great! Some of them are formatted way differently. Erwin Springer [talk] 13:30, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah that's what I noticed, so... I am getting to work on that. I saw that there is some sort of quotes template? It didn't look like it was for how the quotes were formatted, but I don't know exactly what it was about. Dr. Bluegaard 19:34, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
May be we should use an easier template. Erwin Springer [talk] 20:26, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, what is the template for exactly? How to format the quotes? Perhaps we should change it. Dr. Bluegaard 16:03, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
By the way, To find all the quotes I just go to the homepage and click refresh and get a different quote each time. Is that going to mess you guys up what with how many visits you receive daily? Is there an easier (or less destructive) way to do this. There isn't a category page for episodes with quotes is there? Sorry about all of the questions Dr. Bluegaard 19:57, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

(Re-indent) Oh, why don't we make a page with all of the quotes on it! That would make it a lot easier, or was that what we were avoiding by putting them on the episode page? Dr. Bluegaard 20:26, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

we could do a list of all quotes but we would probably go with a system that involves pulling them off of the episode pages as that seems like a more logical place for them to be. Also I created a list of all the episodes with quotes here it should be a little quicker then just refreshing the main page till you see a new one Reddo 20:47, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, that'll help lots! I'll get back to work on that! Dr. Bluegaard 23:59, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Say, how would I go about adding episodes to that list? Dr. Bluegaard 00:15, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
If you go to any episode that doesn't have quotes (list can be found here) and add a quote to it that episode should be added to your list automagically Reddo 00:28, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Sweeeeet! That will give me a heads up when quotes have been added so I can go check them out. Thank you so much! Dr. Bluegaard 00:48, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
If you hold for a moment, I have an idea that will make it much easier to add and manage quotes. ;) Erwin Springer [talk] 01:50, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Would it be a good idea (and is it possible) to put all of one characters quotes on their page? (Example: All of Bernard's quotes on the Bernard Walton page.) AIOCREFan 17:36, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
May be. The problem is is tha there isn't one variable of the peron's name in the quotes template. Erwin Springer [talk] 17:55, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Some episode pages may look messed up, as i"m changing to a better system using a bot which can only run one process at a time. Erwin Springer [talk] 18:44, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

I made a template that pulls quotes for a certain person, though it isn't quite finished.

Whit

"|Whit" is only needed when the person in the template in the episode pages differs from the pagename. The list for Whit for example generates:

Whit: ...knowing that when you had the chance, you took advantage of the time you did have with your friend. Just looking at one another; talking; even saying nothing. I think it's significant that when faced with death, Jesus chose to spend his last night eating dinner with his best friends.

#884: “Always Home”

Eugene Meltsner: Special delivery for the future Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Bassett
Connie Kendall: What?
Eugene Meltsner: Eh it was on the side step. There is a label.
Connie Kendall: Congratulations Connie and Wooton. Oh no.
Whit: Well what is it?
Wooton Bassett: Woohoo its a four slot toaster!
Connie Kendall: This is ridiculous!
Wooton Bassett: Oh you're telling me, after the countless times I've mentioned wanting a six slot.

#713: “Something Old, Something New, Part 1”

Erwin Springer [talk] 00:25, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

cool, as we get more and more quotes put in though this might get a little long, we might want to put it on a separate page from the page about the character in that case Reddo 06:42, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Okay, once all the pages are converted to the new format, we can use the new system that I cam up with here. If more than one quote is found on an episode, it randomly picks one. Erwin Springer [talk] 16:12, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
I don't know why but recently the same three quotes come up on the Main Page and it's getting kind of annoying. AIOCREFan 01:49, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
That's my fault, if you can bare with me while I go throught the episodes and convert them to the new format. I'm about 1/4 Done. Erwin Springer [talk] 01:55, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Actors

It looks to me like we have no automatic way of putting in characters played for actors. Is there a way that we could have it sort by the number of episodes that each character is in? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 00:37, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure what you mean, could you explain furthur? Do you mean sorting the character pages? Erwin Springer [talk] 01:06, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
I would like to do it like it does with character pages where it lists the episodes automatically. I created a template here, but I am missing something because it doesn't list the characters. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 02:58, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
it should work now Reddo 03:23, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Cool. So is there a way that we could make it sort by the number of episodes the character is in? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 04:39, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
yeah, I'm pretty sure I can make it do that, it will take a little work to get the sort keys working properly for it (so 78 episodes isn't above 123 episodes as it only looks at the first character when sorting in categories) but I should be able to get that working later tonight. Reddo 04:48, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Instead if a new template, wouldn't it be easier to put them in Staff Episodes? Or better yet do something like collapsible sections in the infobox that shows the episodes under how many and what they go to. Erwin Springer [talk] 12:05, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Organization

So first of all, I think that the album images should formatted:

 • ##front.jpg (for the current album front cover)
 • ##back.jpg (for the current album back cover)
 • ##front-old.jpg (for the CD version of the old front cover)
 • ##back-old.jpg (for the CD version of the old back cover)
 • ##front-tape.jpg (for the tape version of the front cover)
 • ##back-tape.jpg (for the tape version of the back cover)

Obviously (if what we decide) the Album Image Template should be set to the above. Most of that is done, but it still has some work to be done.

Secondly, I think that we should have a page with the Template:Album list for all types of media. which may include, but are not limited to:

 • List of Series Albums
 • List of Original Releases (albums 1-15)
 • List of Sampler Albums
 • List of Life Lesson Albums (already have)
 • List of Videos
 • List of Books

God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 20:22, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

We have some of those lists as seen here. Erwin Springer [talk] 22:05, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Adventures in Odyssey Bible?

Should the AIO Themed Bible be in All Books? I don't have one and I don't know if many others have one. Kenan24 05:11, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

If you use the book infobox, it will automatically put it in that category, if that's what you're asking. Erwin Springer [talk] 15:27, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
I created a page here for the AIO Bible. It's now included under the All Books Category. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 16:39, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

News Image Link

Does anybody know why the image link is not working with the Newsitem Template? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 01:47, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Check.svg Done. Use {} and {} now. Erwin Springer [talk] 01:58, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Scripture

Right now we're just linking to Bible Gateway for scripture refrences. If we use this method, instead of the "Bible Verse" namespace, we can delete the pages in the namespace. However which method will we use? Erwin Springer [talk] 02:53, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Well the reason that we have it linking, is because the bible verses were taking up a bunch of space in the wanted pages and that's not even the system that we're planning on using. Once we complete our Bible, we can change the template. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 04:17, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

YouTube Extension

Could we use mw:Extension:EmbedVideo instead? It supports multiple sites and sizing videos. Erwin Springer [talk] 14:16, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

I agree. I found that this morning when I was looking how to embed videos. It looks easier to use too. How do you install extensions? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 15:21, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Installing extensions requires server access, something that only I and Shadowpaw have, I don't have time this minute to install it right now but I'll do it later today Reddo 16:54, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
okay after an almost 6 month break from the wiki I think I'm back. I got this extension working, after a few days when we can get all of the old videos moved to the new extension I'll removing the old code Reddo 03:02, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

Character/Actor/Episode Categories

I think that I've finished making the character/actor/episode categories automatic. Now we don't have to type (eg.) John Whittaker" All that we have to do is put: Episode character category. Unless it can be done by bot, I see no need to manually go around and take out the unneeded text. We'll just do it correctly for future characters and actors categories.

The following is what I have made automatic. Tell me if there are more. User:Natedude24/List of character/actor/episode categories God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 15:45, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

I tried to do this a while ago, where we would have one master template, or sub templates by adding "/". And it can be done by bot most likely. Erwin Springer [talk] 19:02, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
How about something like Template:Category/episode character. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 22:09, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
That's what I thought, but it's in not really necessary since all episodes have benn created and have cast sections, and the system seems to work well. Erwin Springer [talk] 22:19, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Update

Just a little update on my character project on the aiolib there is 1,938 characters on the aiowiki there is 1,792. So there is a lot of work still. Stop Wooton Around 00:09, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

146 left to do. GOJEFF24 14:39, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Not necessarily. We have cast list for episodes such as the TC, so we should have a few more. Erwin Springer [talk] 20:59, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Places Infobox

How would we make it so that in the infobox it shous up as something else, but then the caregory itself is the right thing. I am thinking about how for the churches in Odyssey, it shows up as "Churchs" which is the incorrect spelling but if we did something similar to Darien's Rise (book) than we could put

| type = Church
| typecat = Churche

Then it would show up as Category:Churches God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 16:39, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

I've been thinking about it, and what if we made a new section like "store_type" and then in the "type" section we could just put "Store" then in the "store_type" section we would put (eg.) "Electronic". Then we would make it so it shows up in the infobox as "Electronic Store". Then the category would be under "Stores" and "Electronic Stores". Sorry if my wording is confusing. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 17:16, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
I think we should have multiple types simply under "type", type2", etc. For the Church thing, use another ifeq parser may be:
<!---------------------------------Type of Place---------------------------------->
<div class="hiddenStructure{}" style="clear:left;font-size:10px;text-align:center;">
<div style="width:125px;float:left;text-align:left;">Type of Place</div>
<div style="width:125px;float:left;text-align:right;"><!--
-->{{#ifeq:{}|Church|<!--
-->{type}<!--
-->|{{ifeq:{}|Church|<!--

Episode rating\voting

I think that aiowiki has not gotten very far with this somewhat new voting system. It seems to me that it has been on here for quite a while, yet many episodes still have not been voted on. The ones that have been voted on still don't have very many votes, and therefore are highly inaccurate to what the fans think of an episode. There are a few problem that I would like to mention with the currant voting system.

 • 1. It is way to hard to gage how good an episode is based on percent. There is no basis for why it's rated 94% as apposed to 95%. Fans are left guessing what to vote. However, I do not think that there is much that can be done about this other than putting some voting guidelines out there.
 • 2. Fans have to log in to vote. I do not think that this is a good idea. Fans are probably not going to go through the process of creating an account just so that they can vote on a particular episode. Even if they did decide to log in to vote, by the time the episode the whole process of logging in is over with, they are likely to have forgotten about voting completely.
 • 3.There are not enough places to vote. If aiowiki is serious about this voting system, they should make more of an effort to promote it. The ability to vote should not just be on the episode pages but on the Main Page as well. People are far more likely to frequent the Main Page than they are to go to every episode page and vote. I also think aiowiki should partner with other aio websites on the voting system. See if the Odyssey Scoop, or Peachey's AIO Blog, or even the ToO will put the voting option on right out there with today's episode.

I realize that there may me some fall back's to changing some of these things but I think would drastically improve the voting system.

MarvelousMarvin 22:40, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

 1. I think that that is part of the extension and can't be changed...
 2. I agree that it may be a good idea make it so anon users can vote.
 3. Do you mean advertising to rate episodes or somehow make it so the rating bars are on other sites? I'm almost positive that the latter is impossible.
Erwin Springer [talk] 00:22, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
I agree. I think that we should have stars of some sort. That's what everybody else does... God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 00:41, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
I meant that the rating bars should be available be on other websites so that it is like all one network, so to speak. However, if this is imposible, it would be nice to have something like this: Beside today's episode (on other websites) you have a note that says somthing like, "Vote on today episode on AIOWiki!" with a link to either the main page of AIO wiki or a page within the wiki where you could vote on the episode. On AIO wiki's main page there needs to be the same rating bar right there beside today's episode that there is on the episode's page. This is of the utmost importance if we are going to get any votes! Now, whoever came up with the idea of doing more than just rating an episode on a scale of 1 to 5 (i.e. the five rating stars), it was a good one. But, changing to a scale of 1 to 100 just is a little bit drastic. Maybe a scale of 1 to 10 would be better, or even 1 to 20...but 1 to 100? That, in my opinion, is way to hard to gauge. However if this can not be changed, than AIO wiki should have voting guidlines to help fans to know how to better rate the episodes. It would be ideal to have a link to a page with these guidelines placed right beside the voting bar. I hope that I have answered the questions asked and I look forward to seeing what happens with this. MarvelousMarvin 02:52, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
hi, sorry about not being around much lately again, It seems as if I'm never here anymore, I wish that I could be, but I'm on vacation and have less internet access then I would like, I will get to that other extension yet but it may be until sometime next week before I can do it. there is a star feature that was just released as an update to the extension, I'll add it when I can. when I put the extension in it was either annon only or user only, I went with the user option, this may be changed by now, I'll look at it next week. rating episodes on the main page, that could not be done when I installed the extension, I tried adding that feature but it keeps failing, I might try again next week. Reddo 05:27, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Reddo, is it possible to maybe have a link to the voting system on other websites? And I have a suggestion for how to solve the problem of the wiki not allowing the rating bar on the main page. Could there maybe be a link in the Today's Episode template box that said something like, "Vote on today's episode." You could than access the episode page to vote or view behind-the-scenes information on the episode. What do you think? MarvelousMarvin 02:27, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

It still seams like one would be less apt to vote on an episode if you have to be linked. That would still not solve the having to be a registered user in order to vote. But Reddo has a new extention in mind, so we'll give that a test run when he gets back from vacation. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 03:01, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

logged out users can now vote Reddo 17:59, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
Yay! Thanks Reddo! MarvelousMarvin 07:43, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Album Redirects

I was wondering if it would be all right if I created pages for each album (named Album 1, Album 2, etc.) that would redirect to the current album page. I noticed that we have a similar thing going for the episodes, so I thought it would be a nice little shortcut to add. Eugene 04:06, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

I think that it would be fine... I've actually thought about doing the same thing myself, but I've just been to busy. I don't think that it can be done by bot... so unless somebody objects, go for it. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 05:13, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
Okay then. Oh, and should I do Album 1 or Album 01 or both? Eugene 15:55, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
I would say both. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 21:14, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
I also noticed that for albums 1-9, there are two versions. Should it go to the new version, or have a disambiguation thingy? Eugene 23:17, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm not seeing where the other versions are... could you tell me? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 23:21, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
Those pages I'm currently combinig with the current pages...It can be done with a bot...It looks like you did some, but make a template with a category if you make more so they can easily found. Erwin Springer [talk] 02:12, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

What do you mean create a template for a category? Do you want me to make a category to keep all of the redirects in? And I don't know anything about bots, but I'd like to do this small task by myself. Eugene 04:01, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

A bot meaning that I could do thise automatically by a python script rather than you doing it...Create a template and only put a category in <includeonly> tags and then put that on the redirect pages. Erwin Springer [talk] 20:20, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
All of the albums up to Album 35 now have redirects. I created the template that you suggested, I/Erwin, and the category I created is called Album Redirects; though I'm not exactly sure that created the category page properly. I'll let you all know when I have finished the rest of the redirects. --Eugene 18:00, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
This project has now been completed! All 50 albums now have redirect pages as a shortcut, and albums 2-9 have two. --Eugene 20:24, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Album 51 cover

Is the cover that Jackdavis uploaded a legit copy? It definitely looks official... Where did he get it? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 15:46, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

It was on today's bonus secret word. Erwin Springer [talk] 23:41, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
I don't know, but I tend to think that since they want you to enter the secret word, that we shouldn't give it away. God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 03:40, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
It says "Album51Cover" or something similar in the url, so I don't think they mind this time. Erwin Springer [talk] 14:43, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
I was just wondering but by making this statement aren't you giving away what the bonus is. Stop Wooton Around 21:50, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Would it be possible to have a set height for the featured quote, and then have like a down arrow that if you hover over it it scrolls down in just that section? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 04:21, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

I think we'd need another extension if I understand you right. I couldn't find one witha scrollbar though. Erwin Springer [talk] 14:43, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Tape Covers

Why were all the tape album covers that I uploaded, deleted? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 05:32, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Which ones did you upload, I don't think I deleted any. Erwin Springer [talk] 14:43, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Passages Redirect

I was wondering if we should redirect Passages, Part 1 and Passages, Part 2 to Fletcher's Rebellion Part 1 and 2. Peachey Keen 21:40, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Well, when they put it on the Official podcast a few days ago, they labeled it as: “Passages: Fletcher’s Rebellion, Part 1″. The same is the case on the official site. But the CD case, it says "Passages, Parts I & II". So I don't know; what does everybody else think? God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 23:11, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
official word from FOTF is that those 2 episodes have been renamed Reddo 12:13, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Book Characters

I was thinking that someone should create a template for the book characters. MarvelousMarvin 21:44, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Great and well needed idea. However that would require many new templates as well. (book list for characters, etc.) It may be better to just may be better to change the one we have to incoroporate book characters as it already has episode an video characters. Erwin Springer [talk] 21:19, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Side note

I took a break from characters and have been working on books. I'm adding the sidebar this page on like episodes (Erwin I would like to do this the old fashion way if you don't mind) and I'm putting the picture in the information like the picture of the album the episode comes from. Theory Page Idea

I've got an idea, where we have this theory page, where we post all of our theories about mysteries such as Album 51, the Imagination Station, the Inspiration Station (by the way what is this red button thing????), Novacom, Blackgaard, Passages, ect. Don't tell me this is illegal, because I've looked at other wikis, and they have theory pages, and don't tell me that you don't what a theory page is, because I know you guys go on the Internet, and don't tell me you don't know what a theory is, because I know that the Novacom saga is airing. So what do we do about split episodes for the today's episode section? It doesn't show up when it says "and". God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 05:05, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Oh, yeah the summary wont show up right...hmm... Erwin Springer [talk] 01:25, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Yay! I came up with a solution, however all schedule pages with split episodes will need to take use , which I may be able to use a bot to do. Erwin Springer [talk] 22:21, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Episode box

What's up with today's episode on the Main Page? AIOCREFan 19:21, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Fixed. Erwin Springer [talk] 21:04, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Sorry

I won't be helping on AIOWIki anymore, as I'm leaving the virtual AIO world. You can read more on the ToO. If you need anything, send me an email. Thank you all! Erwin Springer [talk] 21:31, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry to hear that Erwin. It was a lot of fun working with you. May God bless you in the future. "The best is yet to come". God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 23:08, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
It sounds like you made a real mature decision. Thanks for helping out here. God Bless You. Kenan24 13:51, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Well Erwin, if you're reading this . . . Tyler (of the Town of Odyssey) was right. Adventures in Odyssey is really going to take a hit. I, like many others, wish that you didn't have go. But our ways are not God's ways. From what you've said, I think you made the right decision. Adventures in Odyssey can't and shouldn't get in the way of real life. It is a decision that all of us who are on the Odyssey fan internet world will have to make some day. And if we don't, we fail to listen to what AIO really is saying. AIO wouldn't want their show to get in the way of our lives. If it does, we have failed to grasp the point of what the show is all about. Entertainment. It shouldn't be our life. Maybe more people will have to make that decision in the days to come. I plan to put it off as long as possible. That's why I'm not on the ToO. I don't have time. I can't be a part of that and expect to make an impact here on the wiki. It seems to me that on the ToO your impact would be short lived. Here, your contributions could remain for a long, long time. You have to pick and choose what your going to do with your free time. Their are some of us, I'd guess, that spend more time on the internet being a fan of Odyssey than we do actually listening to the show. Some times we get so caught up in it that it completely takes up our time. I pray God that that doesn't happen to me. Because if it does, I will have to make the inevitable desision that many others have made. To end my ties with the online world of Odyssey. And by the time I would have enough control over myself to get back into it, I probably wouldn't want to become an online fan again anyways.
Erwin, thank you so, so much for what you've done. Your help has been greatly appreciated. If there was an Adventures in Odyssey Online Hall of Fame, I wluld nominate you for it. Becouse you deserve it. We will miss you Erwin. Long life and well wishes to you, God Bless. MarvelousMarvin 20:05, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm also sorry to hear that you're leaving, but I know what it's like, I've also gone through a similar situation recently (you may have noticed that although I'm still around, just not editing). I want to say thank-you so much to you for all your help, you've been a huge help to the wiki and you won't be forgotten, feel free to drop by anytime and say hi Reddo 20:59, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Guys, after taking about a month off from AIOWiki and the ToO, I have found that the ToO is my problem, and AIOWiki is not. I realized that the ToO is somewhat of an addiction for myself, so I must stay away until a later time. I've unblocked myself here, as I truly believe that I can be useful here without it consuming my time as the ToO did. Sorry for all of the 'drama', but I think I have made the right decision! Erwin Springer [talk] 02:58, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

yay, you're back, I think pretty much everything is the same as when you left, we're looking at a new design for the main page here and I'm working on a new part to the average category rating, the old one was taking too long to load, the new one can be thought of as a really hard cache that's updated by a bot every few days, more details can be found below, again welcome back Reddo 03:08, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Welcome back, Erwin! Wow, has it been a month already? MarvelousMarvin 15:10, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Erwin I did the same as you I just didn't feel right really on the ToO. I took a break from here to but have been working on the BIG wikipedia. I will probable work more here now and not so much on the wikipedia. Stop Wooton Around 03:19, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Darien's Rise Cast

For those of you who can work it...Scroll down here for a few cast and crew members to fill in the "Unknowns". 66.168.10.94 02:33, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Thank you user 66.168.10.94, : ). Perhaps you shold create an account. Than you could say like Jason Whittaker said in A Name, Not a Number, "Now I'm a name, not a number." But in all honesty, that really is a big help, now if we could lonly find out what actors played what parts . . . hmmmm. I was planning on emailing questions@whitsend.org after the new season finished airing to find out who played what parts, but if we can find out all that information beforehand that would be great. MarvelousMarvin 14:24, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
I have a question. how specific do we get woth the characters? Like do we give tthe king's servant Dilbur his own character page even though his only line is, "Yes, your highness"? MarvelousMarvin 14:39, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
I received the casting info from FOTF today and filled in as much as I could, I left questions on the talk pages of parts 2 and 6 for what i wasn't quite sure about, I added more info to the info box too, we still need to go through some of the cast pages and update the actor info though, then it should be done :) Reddo 01:20, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
Reddo. did you go through all the Darien's rise character pages and change the actors to the correct person? MarvelousMarvin 10:36, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I did that late last night after I added that note, thanks for fixing the Chris -> Christopher for me. I think all that's left is the cast part of part 6 Reddo 17:48, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

Better logo?

I'm thinking the logo could probably be made more smooth by revamping it using this thing?[1]

Don't worry about it for now. We will have a new logo soon... God Bless ~ Nate ~ Talk 23:16, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
Do we want to do anything with the sitenotice, or is the home page enough? Erwin Springer [talk] 03:30, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
