Hi, my user name is Cryin' Bryan the Jerk, named after that great radio legend. My real name is PGFC AGFG (I'm sorry, but I don't trust anyone). My life is like Jared DeWhite (including the Novacom guys trying to get me.)

Reviews

I've got this great idea to review episodes. I'm going to start with (3) episodes at the moment, and then I might add some more episodes. Later: I now have (7) episodes.

Episode 1: Whit's Flop

Review: This is a good episode, but it's kind of short. The sound design, acting and writing are all pretty average.

Plot: Davey Holcomb usually looks, thinks and acts like a failure. But Whit has a plan to boost his confidence.

Favourite Character(s): Whit, Davey

Favourite Scene(s): Davey stating how the photocopier machine works.

Episode 3: Lights Out at Whit's End

Review: When I listened to this episode, I liked it. The skits were good, but I wouldn't recommend it to families listening together. In fact, I showed this to a few friends of mine, and one of them said he didn't even want to listen to this episode again. Acting and writing are like it's in a Saturday morning TV show, but the sound effects are good and the most advanced so far.

Plot: When the lights go out at Whit's End, Whit, Tom and Officer Harley show the kids what fun they can have.

Favourite Character(s): Whit

Favourite Scene(s): 4000 Year Man sketch.

Episode 12: The Tangled Web

Review: When I heard this episode, I wasn't surprised by this episode's ending, because I had already read up on the episode. But this did have a big impact on my life. You see, I got this really cool video game, but it had a problem. At two different parts of the game, an antagonist uses witchcraft to posses a hero. I knew this ahead of time, but I thought, 'Hey this is a video game! They can't actually show possession with such crude graphics!' Unfortunately, when I found out that they did manage to portray possession accurately, I started to panic. What was worse, I was the only person who knew what was happening. My sister didn't know about it, and my parents didn't play the game. I didn't know what to do, so I listened to this episode over a hundred times. Finally, I realized I had to tell the truth to my parents.

Plot: Connie reads a story titled 'The Tangled Web' about a boy named Jeremy Forsythe who tells a lie that gets him into bigger trouble than he ever imagined. Be surprised about the twist ending.

Favourite Scene(s): The ending.

Favourite Character(s): Harry Snoopnagle/Officer Harley --Cryin' Bryan Dern the Jerk 18:45, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Episode 401: More Like Alicia

Review: I thought that this episode would be more of a be careful what you wish for episode. But it was still good. The sound design is average, but the writing and acting are amazing. I would recommend listening to this.

Plot: Heather really wants to be more like her idol, Alice, the most popular girl in school. Then she gets to be Alicia for one night.

Favourite Character(s): Heather

Favourite Scene(s): Heather talking about how she will mimic Alicia, the ending.

Episode 557: A Lamb's Tale

Review: This is one of my favourite episodes ever! This is six stories woven into one. They are:

1. Whit is hosting a Christmas gift give away at Whit's End

2. Tamika reluctantly gives away her stuffed lamb Cotton

3. Nick finds out that his Uncle Mike could have had a more successful life if he wanted to

4. Mark returns home from the war, and Liz doesn't like that he's changed

5. Mark feels guilty about an incident in the war which killed his best friend

6. A boy named Grady goes after Tamika's lamb and rescues it from Rodney

And the score is very good.

Plot: It's Christmas time! But what's going to happen when a lamb gets given away?

Favourite Character(s): Rodney, Whit, Grady, Mark, Nick

Favourite Scene(s): Grady and Rodney arguing about the lamb

Episode 639: The Triangled Web Part 2

Review: OK, first of all, I'd love to say that this automatically enters my list of Top 300 Worst Episodes. Why? First of all, the Imagination Station scene was bad writing. Second of all, no more Candid Conversations with Connie! I was hoping that she would talk with Robyn, or Donna, but did that happen! No! Third, the #1 scene I actually liked was too predictable! We all know that Donald Long and Genni Mullen are married! What were the writers thinking? That Lucy would slip up to Curt or Jimmy? Jimmy already has a girlfriend! And he's too young! And the actor who plays Curt is African American!

Plot: More misadventures happen in this old love triangle.

Favourite Character(s): Jack

Favourite Scene(s): The Proposal
