Have you seen The Last Days of Eugene Meltsner video?

I haven't seen the video. I haven't even seen the Last Days book and I wrote it!

Do you visit the AIO websites?

Yes, I do. I think I've been to all of them at least once.

What's your favorite episode coming this fall?

I haven't heard it, but I'm looking forward to the musical by John Beebee.

Marshal, who is your favorite AIO Character?

I like Bernard and Eugene for adults. As for kids - I like Rusty, Jared, Glenn...

Do you ever get tired of thinking up new ideas for AIO?

It's very hard coming up with ideas for a show as old as Odyssey - with 500 episodes already done. But that just makes it a challenge.

Will there be more Kidsboro books?

Yes, there will be four Kidsboros coming out in the fall of 2001. I'm writing #4 now.

Kidsboro will be published by FOTF in the fall. It will be "Odyssey-ized", meaning, Whit and some more of the gang will be included in them.

When are Eugene and Katrina tying the knot?

E & K are not scheduled to tie the knot this season, but I'm confident they will eventually. But I'm not really the person writing the E & K saga.

How many episodes have you written for the fall?

The fall will have 3 or 4 of my episodes.

What your favorite show that you wrote this fall?

I wrote a show called #455: “Best Laid Plans”, which I like. Plus there's one called #460: “Nova Rising” which will be part of a Darkness Before Dawn type series coming up.

Marshal, I heard somewhere that while Mr. Lollar was there they might have made a character out of one of our webmasters, Jeff Cunningham, what happened to that?

The "Jeff" character became "Alex".

How old are you and how long have you been a Christian?

I'm 32 and I became a Christian when I was 7.

Are you married, Marshal?

Yes, I'm married to Stephanie and I have three kids - Bryn, 7, Paityn, 5, and Kristyn, 15 months.

Marshal, will Margaret Faye be back soon?

I'm not sure about Margaret.

Why did they have an Alex Jefferson on #282: “The Fundamentals” and on #431b: “The Virtual Kid”?

It was just a coincidence. We just happened to pick the same name and no one noticed. I'm sure there is more than one Alex Jefferson in the world! :)

Are you excited about the Fall Season? (Such as you feel fans will really enjoy it?)

I'm VERY excited about the fall season and I think the fans will love it.

Marshal, who is the main character in "Nova Rising"?

Nova Rising features Bernard, Alex, and Whit.

What's your situation with working at Focus?

I am coming back on staff at FOTF in November. I'm very excited about it.

What are all the episode names for this season?

Some of the early ones are already on AIOHQ. There is also #458: “Red Herring” and #456: “The Worst Day Ever”...

Where did you grow up?

I was born in Mississippi, then moved to northern Ohio when I was eight. I grew up near Cleveland.

Marshal, will Harlow, Edwin or Richard be back anytime soon?

We didn't talk much about Edwin or Harlow. We might have overused Harlow in the spring.

Are you going to continue with "seasons" in the future, or are things going back to the way they were earlier on, with only episode breaks every so often?

We are concentrating more on filling albums instead of season. We may run through the summer, I'm not sure.

Will Fred Holstein be back anytime soon?

We didn't talk much about Fred Holstein. But the guy who plays him will be in the first episode of the season.

Marshal, are you in favor for Maxwell coming back?

Richard is an intriguing character, because nobody really knows whose side he's on, so yes, I do favor him coming back.

Marshal, have you seen the Little Dogs that are done by Phil Lollar and other guys, if so what did you think of them?

I have their first video, yes. I thought they were really funny, and I hope they are the next "VeggieTales".

The "Little Dogs" songs aren't as strong as Veggie Tales, but I like the stories better.

Have you read the Harry Potter books? Do you think the hype about Harry Potter being "anti-Christian" is a valid statement? (Personally I think they're great... all of them)

I've read the first three Harry Potters.

I loved Harry Potter, I think they were very cleverly written.

I can see their point and I don't think I would let my 7 year old read them yet. But I think it has to do with discernment. I don't find the HP books particularly "anti" Christian. I don't think they were meant to fight against Christianity.

Marshal, have you read the Left Behind book series?

I haven't read "LB".

Do you like ice cream? What is your favorite flavor?

My favorite ice cream is Cookies and Cream.

Have you read The Lord Of The Ring Book series?

I read the first two many years ago.

Are they going to make any more Passages episodes?

Probably no more radio Passages, though they might come out with more Passages books.

Where do you live? What state?

I live in Virginia. I won't be here much longer. I'm moving to Colorado Springs.

Do you play any computer games? (AIO related, and non related)

I have the AIO CD-ROM. The only computer games I play are card and sports games. I love baseball.

What is your favorite Bible verse/ passage?

Jeremiah 9:23-24

Marshal, have you read any of the Passages books?

I haven't read any of the Passages books.

Marshal, have you listened to any Radio Theater?

I haven't listened to any Radio Theatre, though I own The Lion, the Witch, and Wardrobe.

Do you watch any movies? What is your favorites?

Movies...Wow...Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is one of my favorites.

I liked A Few Good Men.

I liked The Truman Show.

I love Princess Bride.

Marshal, I hear you like AIO Survivor, good choice!

I think AIO Survivor is brilliant. Very creative, Shadowpaw.

Marshal, how many episodes this spring?

There are probably 12-15 scheduled for the springs, and I'll probably do 5, maybe 6

Marshal, do you have a favorite AIO site or like them all?

I don't have a favorite site, I think they all have their own distinguishing features. I think you guys are very creative with your sites.

Who is your favorite AIO Intern?

Hmmmm... There have been so many good ones. If it weren't for his haircut, I would probably say Nathan Hoobler.

How was it working with Nathan there?

Nathan was the biggest pain. (Just kidding.)

It's was interesting have Nathan at FOTF, because he know more about the show than any of the rest of us. And he ended up being the answer man. I think he did well on his first script, too.

Did he tell you guys he wrote an episode?

Goodbye, everyone, feel free to e-mail me if you have any more questions. It was great chatting.
