Question: Why does AIO swear sometimes if the Bible says not to?

Could you elaborate? I don't remember a time where someone swears.

They have never sworn on AIO. I own every episode available, and there has never been any profanity, nor taking the LORD's name in vain. Even in War of the Words, the writers had to try and come up with a way to talk about the subject without actually swearing.

Actually, I do remember the time that Mr. Riley swears in the Novacom series (Thanks to the person on the discussion page for pointing that out). The reason for that was because he was in a rage and not in a good frame of mind. That isn't to say it was okay. RyanCummings 13:50, 18 June 2011 (PDT)
Sorry, I listened to Expect the Worst, and I see what you mean. I thought you meant using profanity, not swearing as in making a vow. Yes, Tom was wrong to say so, and it's a consistent character trait of his to harbour anger against others who have hurt him or those close to him. This happens with Richard Maxwell, P. D. Barnes, and as we see here, with Novacom. Leonardmeltsner 14:42, 18 June 2011 (PDT)
In some of the earlier eps, Whit and some other characters say "gee" and Connie as Delilah in The Power of One says "drat." Peachey Keen 15:05, 21 June 2011 (PDT)
Which are more "euphemisms" than "swears", but I digress. CartoonNostalgia (talk) 23:38, 19 October 2018 (MDT)
