Stacy Alcorn

You seem sure that Shannon Everett was not voiced by Stacy Alcorn in her last Episode appearance. Can you explain why? ~ OdysseyFan (talk) 16:44, 26 April 2017 (MDT)

Shannon's voice is different in The Election Deception than in all her previous appearances. The tonal quality is quite different than that of Alcorn, with the voice actress sounding even younger than Alcorn. Crnel (talk) 17:22, 26 April 2017 (MDT)

Thank you

Hi, Crnel; I just wanted to say thank you for your constructive edits on the wiki. We don't have that many users making edits, and we who are mostly make edits to keep the system afloat, but you are adding just the content we need here. Thank you for your hard work! Scientific Guy (talk / AIOC Episode Timeline) 19:46, 7 August 2017 (MDT)

My pleasure! It's great fun making contributions while listening to episodes. You all have done a fantastic job with the wiki. Crnel (talk)

What Were They Thinking: Achan

Do you have a copy of this short? Scientific Guy (talk / AIOC Episode Timeline) 10:06, 23 December 2017 (MST)

Sadly, no: I had a cassette recording of the radio broadcast years ago but this was lost. All I have now is some memory of the dialogue. Crnel (talk)

Hello

Hello, Crnel. I am a previous active editor of the wiki and just stopped by again due to a loll between midterms and my last spring break. I noticed you are in the tech industry and was curious as to what parts? I graduate this May with a Computer and Information Technology degree concentrating in security. I have prior experience in a Security Operations Center and my ultimate career goal is to continue moving upwards in a SOC somewhere. Thanks for working on the wiki as you have been, it's nice to see editors still running and producing content for the wiki. I will probably always stop by randomly, but will never be as active as I once was (when I was young and had nothing else to do :)). Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 20:09, 6 March 2018 (MST)

Hello, Stop Wooton Around, nice to meet you. I've been a support analyst for a few software devs at Microsoft working on the Bing engine for the past few years, specifically handling local entity classification. It's good fun, though in the future I hope to study and dig deeper into front-end web development (when life is less busy!). Love the wiki and appreciate all your and the others' work over the years in maintaining and improving it. Crnel (talk)

Category:Fictional Brands

I've removed several of the pages from the Fictional Brands category because they already fall under Category:All Organizations. Would you agree on the difference between a "place" and a "brand"? Scientific Guy (talk / AIOC Episode Timeline) 11:29, 8 April 2018 (MDT)

Yes, spot on. Now that you mention it I agree that there should be a distinction there. A product is much different from a place, the latter of which is already handled by the Organizations tree.
For the sake of identifying all "spoof" or otherwise fictional names used on the show, though, perhaps a separate identifier category should be used — something to encompass both products and organizations? Crnel (talk)
Sure, sounds good. We can use {{{type2}}} for that. If you want I can come up with a category name unless you have a good idea. Scientific Guy (talk / AIOC Episode Timeline) 14:18, 8 April 2018 (MDT)

The Life of the Party

I have been going to through the episodes to view the new characters added and had a question on #2: “The Life of the Party”. Who is Hank? Is Hank a dog and the episode features the owner of the dog? Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 21:30, 8 April 2018 (MDT)

Yes, the character speaks to his dog Hank during Chris's opening wrap. Crnel (talk)
Cool, thanks! Did you see my recent town hall post? Any thoughts? Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 16:18, 9 April 2018 (MDT)
Sorry, did not see your post — that's what I get for not subscribing to the page. Just responded. Crnel (talk)

Admin

I've been trying to get to know users on here, as I am a fairly new user. And I was wondering, Are you an Admin? ConnieKendall fan  talk Proverbs 13:20He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Guestbook) 11:29, 10 April 2018 (MDT)

Hi there, Conniekendall fan, nice to meet you! To answer your question, no — I'm just an enthusiastic contributor. Crnel (talk)
Nice to meet you too. I am also very enthusiastic. If you go to My User Page you will see how many edits I've done in the infobox. I'm a serious editor.ConnieKendall fan  talk Proverbs 13:20He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Guestbook) 11:36, 10 April 2018 (MDT)

The Curse and The Treasure of LeMonde!

As you seem to know a lot about minor characters in episodes, can you check out my question on Talk:The Curse. Thanks! Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 11:26, 28 April 2018 (MDT)

Also, would you be able to confirm that in The Treasure of LeMonde! that it was indeed the professor who mentioned Rufus Cowley and Henri LeMonde? Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 11:28, 28 April 2018 (MDT)
Everything looks good except for Cowley: his name is first spoken by Robyn as she reads Henri's first poem. The page has been updated. Crnel (talk) 11:11, 30 April 2018 (MDT)
Thanks! Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 17:55, 30 April 2018 (MDT)

Kurt Bruner

Kurt did play the bailiff in Blind Justice. See the description for Official Podcast 250. Scientific Guy (talk / AIOC Episode Timeline) 19:21, 30 April 2018 (MDT)

Listening to the episode today and listening to Bruner speak in the podcast, I'm 100% certain that the role is played by Burton. During the podcast Bruner never specifies the episode in which he plays a bailiff but recalls that the character only has one line. The bailiff in Blind Justice has multiple lines in the opening and closing scenes. Crnel (talk) 19:33, 30 April 2018 (MDT)
I'm with Crnel. #354: “Blind Justice” bailiff is definitely Corey Burton. Rachel Maxwell (talk) 07:25, 15 May 2018 (MDT)
I think it was established that Bruner's bailiff (which, incidentally, sounds like a great username...) is the one in #359: “The Merchant of Odyssey”. Crnel (talk) 08:11, 15 May 2018 (MDT)

Historical Characters

Hey man - I'm so sorry, I must've missed the discussion about not counting historical/Biblical characters in mentions. Makes sense. There are a few other pages where they'll need to be removed if that's the case - I just knew that there were several places we had considered them mentions. Rachel Maxwell (talk) 07:24, 15 May 2018 (MDT)

Silent Night Cast

Hey, I know you have a better ear for this sort of thing than I do - #582: “Silent Night”'s cast is incorrect. Chris says in the wrap that voice talents include "Courtney (Courtnee?) Draper" whom we do not have listed. If it's Bioshock's Courtnee Draper my best guess is that she plays oldest-but-for-DJ Jana, whom we have listed as being Mary Fritson (not in Chris's credits). She also mentions a "Ryan Hankey" whom we do not have listed. Young Jerry maybe? Didn't hear her mention a Caleb Kruse. We also have the Advertisement Narrator listed as Alexandria Kenworthy. I'm pretty sure that's wrong but can't decide if it's one Courtney/Mary or Mandy Kaplan. I'm also not sure about the crediting of the Jasons - since we don't have other appearances to compare to it's hard to tell which one is playing which. Thoughts? Rachel Maxwell (talk) 13:42, 23 May 2018 (MDT)

Just a few questions

How long have you been on the wiki?ConnieKendall fan  talk Proverbs 13:20He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Guestbook) 14:51, 13 June 2018 (MDT)

Also, have you been on any other wikis besides this one?ConnieKendall fan  talk Proverbs 13:20He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Guestbook) 15:14, 13 June 2018 (MDT)
Actually, Dern does do an intro. He says "Oh Hi! Today we're gonna have some fun and excitement. What that means I HAVE NO IDEA!!! But Why don't you join us for adventures in odyssey!"

Italics are for words I'm not sure are exact. The rest of it I know are correct though. ConnieKendall fan  talk Proverbs 13:20He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Guestbook) 21:14, 14 June 2018 (MDT)

I couldn't remember which episode, but it's one of the episodes in which Dern is a main character. I thought it might be Real Time, but I listened to it again and it's not the one. He does do an intro, but i'm just not sure which episode. I'll be searching for the episode later on. ConnieKendall fan  talk Proverbs 13:20He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Guestbook) 09:11, 15 June 2018 (MDT)
See here: Category:Episodes with Character (Dern) intro. The episode is Buddy Guard. Scientific Guy (talk / AIOC Episode Timeline) 07:21, 16 June 2018 (MDT)

For Better or For Worse, Part 1

Since I think she was played by Julia Kazarian (voice of Millie) I wouldn't fight and die on the hill that it was supposed to be Doris, but when Bart enters and has the brief discussion about having been hired by Millie for whatever amount of money (I forget now what it was) Doris has one line where she says she thought it was more. Millie responds that she couldn't care less. It's really inference that it's Doris, she's never called by name, but Millie does make it clear that she hired both of the Rathbones. Listen to that segment and let me know what you think. Rachel Maxwell (talk) 14:19, 17 July 2018 (MDT)

Jake Solomon

Noticed today that Jake Solomon wasn't in the character list for #520: “The Mystery at Tin Flat” even though he had a speaking part. Realized as I added him that I have no idea who played him but his voice does sound familiar. Any ideas? Rachel Maxwell (talk) 08:53, 18 July 2018 (MDT)

Oh you're so right. Should've caught that one. Rachel Maxwell (talk) 09:52, 18 July 2018 (MDT)
What about the presenter/twins in #587: “Bringing Up Dads”? Rachel Maxwell (talk) 09:59, 18 July 2018 (MDT)

Template:Pw

Here's the template I'm working on: Template:Pw. Is there a way we can format it rather than just inputting text on the page? (For example, {{pw|the dangers of the occult, and is therefore intense in places|10}} instead of {{pw|This episode is about the dangers of the occult, and is therefore intense in places. Children under the age of 10 should listen with their parents.}} Scientific Guy (talk / AIOC Episode Timeline) 08:04, 22 July 2018 (MDT)

Cast

Actually, there is a need to rearrange the cast. Episode casts used to be put in alphabetically. Now, we put them in, in order of importance in the episode (A better way to do it). For family episodes like Clutter, we go father, mother, oldest to youngest kid. I’ve been working on fixing old episodes slowly for a long time. AIOrocks101 (talk) 07:39, 10 August 2018 (MDT)

Could you send me an email, please, Crnel? I have a question to ask. Scientific Guy (talk / AIOC Episode Timeline) 18:30, 16 August 2018 (MDT)

Gary Clemmer

Mr. Romer in #671: “Fast As I Can” - is that Gary Clemmer? Rachel Maxwell (talk) 13:47, 9 November 2018 (MST)

EDIT: 99% sure it is so I went ahead and added him but feel free to change it if you disagree. Rachel Maxwell (talk) 13:52, 9 November 2018 (MST)
