History

Reverend Andrew Jamison was a Christian minister living in Odyssey during the 18th Century who helped William Ross and his father Henry Ross escape from slavers (#316: “The Underground Railroad, Part 3”). Jamison's church was burnt to the ground during the adventure; in its place was eventually built Tate House, which would later become the Fillmore Recreation Center and then Whit's End (#245: “The Mysterious Stranger, Part 2”).

Eugene would later "visit" the reverend in The Imagination Station while doing research during the Darkness Before Dawn saga. The reverend began to explain the history of a mysterious mineral underneath his church but was interrupted by a power loss to the Imagination Station (#331: “Checkmate”). Eugene would later piece together the garbled end to their conversation with help from Richard Maxwell (#332: “Another Chance”).
