History

Beatrice Coffman first appeared in #877: “A Sacrificial Escape”, posing as Anya Popov. Anya appeared to be the owner of a successful line of escape rooms and had built a small version in the basement of Whit's End. However, when showing Emily Jones, Matthew Parker, and Suzu Rydell the escape room, Emily and Matthew were locked into the room. When trying to open it, Anya found that the room wasn't finished. She exited the basement and said she would try and call her crew, but she left the building entirely while the Mysterious Voice locked Whit and Suzu into the basement. Whit later mentioned that he wasn't sure that "Anya" was actually the woman's name.

In #899: “The Rydell Revelations, Part 2”, a stage actor named Beatrice Coffman admits having been paid by an anonymous source to play the part of Ms. Popov. The source is revealed to be Morrie when Whit was able to put everything together.
