Talk:Lord Gargantuan Foulspleen
Garguantuan?
Is it really supposed to be spelled Garguantuan or Gargantuan (which is the word for large)? Stop Wooton' Around (talk) 23:13, 8 December 2013 (MST)

can you fix the pages associated and the live ep or you just gonna break the wiki over a possible misspelled name? ~ OdysseyFan (talk) 17:57, 29 November 2018 (MST)
Delineating the Audio Version from the Comic Version
There was no need to focus on Lord Foulspleen as a comic book character before, but now that there is an actual comic book that features him, it is necessary to figure out how we are going to present this information.
Most of the events of "Push the Red Button" are a dream sequence, and may not necessarily reflect Wooton's intended plot for the character, which we only saw a small part of (the section where Lord Foulspleen had damaged paintings in the Metropolitanville Museum) before the 'merge program'. While Foulspleen evidently is captured and repents in both the original plot and in the dream plot, most of the rest of it, including his being 'Nelson Finch' and 'being made beautiful', is technically unverified in the comic (which consistently calls him "Lord Gargantuan Foulspleen" or some shorter form, and portrays him as a good-looking, but not really 'beautiful', older man).
How do we denote these differences? They're both 'canon' in their own way; they're just slightly different versions of the same character. J.C.G. (talk) 15:16, 17 June 2025 (MDT)
