Maureen McFadden is the fiancée of Robert Mitchell, whom she met during their work with the FBI. She and Mitch are undercover agents that are trying to find frauds in art gallery businesses across the nation. Her undercover identity is that of Jessica Brown, which she used during Something Old, Something New, Parts 1 and 2. She drew the attention of Emily Jones, Matthew Parker, Penny Wise, Eugene Meltsner, and Wooton Bassett while she was investigating Jacques Henri.

Maureen enjoys traveling, museums, and opera, and she is in love with Robert Mitchell. Judging from how she handled Eugene Meltsner, she has knowledge in hand to hand combat, and she is known to be a very cautious person, both stemming from her career in the FBI.
