History

Hank Bonsall appears as the Chairman of the Odyssey City Council during the Blackgaard Saga.

In Hard Losses he informs Tom Riley that not only were enough signatures submitted to warrant a recall vote by the council, but also informed him that the council voted for the recall three times with a 4-3 vote in favor.

Hank then appears in The Return when he calls for the vote to close down Whit's End by request of Philip Glossman. Hank is the tie breaking vote to close down Whit's End. Comments made by both Dr. Regis Blackgaard and Glossman indicates that Hank was either paid or blackmailed into voting for the closure. This would indicate that he was motivated by the events later on to vote with the rest of the council to postpone the recall of Tom indefinitely while law enforcement conducted an investigation into the conspiracy that Blackgaard led.
