I personally thought it was important to remove the spoiler. The fact that there is a spoiler under "Current Employees" spoils that there IS a new employee! Is there somewhere I can read AIOWiki's policy on spoilers? I have looked but I can't find anything. puzzlemaster (talk) 13:55, 24 February 2020 (MST)

While I didn't look to see what the spoiler was, I have my own guess as to who this "new employee" probably is. (I haven't heard 67 or 68 yet, I'm going to listen to them after I relisten to recent albums & club shows, I'm on album 56 right now) Anyway, I have strong feelings on this topic. I've been frustrated for a long time by the lax treatment of spoilers on the wiki. Just like Puzzlemaster said, putting "spoiler" on a page is often a spoiler all by itself. (I remember using this argument in the past) I don't believe it looks good to have spoiler warnings at random points in a given page. I know Scientific Guy likes to update pages as soon as new information is available, but I believe it is better to wait until all episodes in a new album have aired before adding new information to other pages. I don't believe it's ok to add info from shows that haven't even aired on the radio yet. I have lost self control on several occasions in the past, and got spoiled, because there was a random button in the middle of a random page, and I kicked myself because I would've rather found out when I heard the episode for the first time. We shouldn't be "Dangling the fruit in front of peoples faces" so to speak, and then saying "Well, if you clicked the spoiler, and the surprise got ruined for you, it's your fault, you should have more self control." When, in reality, it's Our fault, the people who run the wiki, for creating this problem in the first place. Remember, there are still more non Club member fans than Club member fans. The majority of fans still hear new shows when they air on the radio or when they buy the CD. Let's give them the respect they deserve. This way, the only pages they have to avoid are the unaired episode pages themselves. (Even when I was more up to date with album shows on the club, I still waited till all the episodes were available before I listened) Of course, for club shows, continue to add info when the episode is available. The only place we should have spoiler warnings is at the top of unaired episodes and the top of albums that haven't been fully released. AIOrocks101 (talk) 15:55, 24 February 2020 (MST)
I wholeheartedly agree. Because this seems like a big topic, should we move it to the Town Hall? puzzlemaster (talk) 16:23, 24 February 2020 (MST)
Sounds good. Go ahead. AIOrocks101 (talk) 16:28, 24 February 2020 (MST)
