Personality

Helen Wilson is a bit senile (possibly has a form of Alzheimer's or dementia) but she knows Whit with whom she was fellow teachers, possibly at Odyssey Middle School. She is a very generous person, compensating Jay for any gifts that he buys for her. Helen is very sentimental as she has a pair of earrings from her late husband Donald. Her favorite color is yellow and as a result she likes yellow chrysanthemums, yellow socks, and yellow scarves.

History

At some point in the past she was a teacher with Whit, possibly at Odyssey Middle School. She was widowed after her late husband Donald passed away, and also has a grandson named Humphrey. In her only appearance in #707: “Mistaken for Good” she mistakes Jay Smouse for her Humphrey. In exchange for gifts and visits she gives Jay and Vance King money, for which Vance blackmailed Jay into consistently doing. They are discovered when Jay at first buys her a music box, then, after failing to convince Vance to abort the scam, intentionally sabotages their siphoning out of guilt.

Family

She has a late husband named Donald and a grandson named Humphrey who rarely visits, and whom also has a cousin named Teddy. There is apparently a family tradition of giving someone a dollar for every year of their age on their birthday.
