History

Spencer Barfield was a drifter who didn't settle down much after his discharge from World War II. He once worked in the Fillmore Recreation Center as a janitor. He was shot by Alfred Myers when he saw Alfred stashing stolen money in the basement of the building. His disappearance was attributed to being involved in the robbery at the Odyssey Bank as a participant. Forty years later, however, when his body was discovered, the efforts of Whit, Tom Riley, Jami Martin and his sister Miss Barfield exposed the truth and cleared his name.
