Use this page as a guide to news on AIOWiki.
Notability
News may be posted on AIOWiki if it fits any of the following criteria:
- The announce or release of a new album, piece of album art, episode, or AIO product
- The release of an Official Podcast. (Please don't not add news items about other podcasts. It's not that they're bad, AIOWiki just doesn't want to keep up with every single episode of every podcast that comes along, sorry.)
- Any other bit of news directly released from Focus on the Family.
- The Schedule has been updated.
- Wiki related news such as an extensive new feature, an editing milestone, or article milestone.
News that doesn't fit any of said criteria may be posted, but it may be removed quickly by the discretion of AIOWiki Administrators.
How to Add News
You must be a registered user to update news.
Go to the Main Page and click on the "news" tab, or click here for general news, and here for the release of a new official podcast.

Alternatively use this form: type in the name of the new Product after News:New_Releases/ and click Create:

- To the right of |title=, put something that describes the news, such as "Episode Preview Released" or "New Album Art".
- Leave |date={{subst:#timel: F d, Y}} alone. This sets the current date.
- To the right of |text=, describe the news in complete sentences with proper grammar.

- Leave |id=Podcast alone. This defines the news as a new podcast.
- To the right of |num=, put the podcast's number.
- Go to the podcast blog and click on the title of podcast entry. Look at the url of this page, it should be something similiar to this: http://whitsendblog.org/2010/07/celebrate-podcast-100/. Copy the part after the year and month (in this case "celebrate-podcast-100") and paste it to the right of |webid=.
- Leave |date={{subst:#timel: F d, Y}} alone. This sets the current date as the date.
- To the right of |text=, type a short summary of the podcast's content. Alternatively, you can copy the description from the podcast page, just make sure to surround it with '' on each side.
