One of Focus on the Family's 13 international offices is located in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. They work very hard to serve, nurture and protect families in that diverse culture. Many challenges facing parents and children are universal. But others—from the AIDS crisis, to devastating civil wars, to an alarming number of orphans and refugees—demand special attention and a loving touch from people who call Africa home. It was featured in #862: “In a Sun-Scorched Land, Part 1” and #863: “In a Sun-Scorched Land, Part 2”.
