The Official Adventures in Odyssey Podcast (or The Official Odyssey Podcast) was created so fans of the show would get to hear behind-the-scenes material and interviews with actors, writers, etc. It is hosted by Bob Smithouser and Jesse Florea and premiered Sept. 20, 2006. The podcast now has 437 episodes to date. The podcast has been used to promote Odyssey products such as Answer That! and new Odyssey albums and products. The podcast is produced and directed by Nathan Hoobler. He also updates the podcast blog.

The Washington Secret Word Contest
"The Washington Secret Word Contest" began on June 20, 2009. Each weekend that summer, Chris revealed a word in the middle of a show. These "secret words" unlocked special bonus content on the podcast website. Fans were also told to remember the words from week to week because they were all used later on.
