Page format and creation

I suggest that before we start editing every single page randomly and adding all sorts of information that we work on this page first, using it as a template or guide and format it to everyone's liking.

Once that is done, and we have a solid template to go upon, we can use this page as a basis to build all the other pages...that way the pages will remain conform.Blipadouzi 06:28, 6 May 2007 (PDT)

Now I've added just about everything I can think of that would be appropriate to an AIO wiki episode page...if there is anything someone thinks is too much info, or anything else that can be added, mention it here and make the changes to see the difference.
Personally, I'm not sure we should add the source citations, but for technicality I've included them...if we decide to remove them, then that is fine.blipadouzi 10:52, 6 May 2007 (PDT)
I don't think we need citations. I think it would just add clutter, and there's only a few sources we would be getting the information from anyway. Of course if we're citing particularly unique things from certain sites, we can cite them (perhaps reviews) but we don't need to cite where the character/actor information came from or anything like that.Shadowpaw 11:10, 6 May 2007 (PDT)
It looks like the basic format of the pages is taking shape...so I'd say let's just go ahead and start adding things and we will worry about additional information and format later as it presents itself. Have fun!blipadouzi 08:09, 7 May 2007 (PDT)

Page naming

I don't think it's a good idea to include episode numbers in the page titles. In almost all cases I can think of, it simply creates more work for the user. If you want to make a link to an episode, you have to look up the number. If you want to just find a certain episode, you can't just type the name in the search box and go right there. A specific implementation of this I'm thinking of is Memory Alpha, a Star Trek fan wiki. They have episode pages named by just the title (and they use parenthetical disambiguations a la Wikipedia if necessary). Tim Peterson 13:11, 9 May 2007 (PDT)

It's a good idea, and something to consider and discuss...but we could also keep the episodes listed as they are, and simply create redirect pages with just the title. Or the reverse, create the main episode pages with just the titles, and then create an episode number page that redirects to the title page. Either one sounds good.

I agree with Tim. Having the redirect is definitely something we could do, but for the sanity of everyone involved it's probably best to keep things as simple as possible and linking directly to the episode title, rather than both is going to make updating (and maintaining) this wiki much less complicated. Shadowpaw 16:07, 9 May 2007 (PDT)
Alright, I've gone ahead and made the appropriate changes to the Episode, Album & Season pages...we could probably create one page that lists all the episodes with their respective episode number, or simply not list them anywhere with the exception of Season pages. blipadouzi 16:30, 9 May 2007 (PDT)
Oh wait, I didn't mean we had to remove the episode numbers all together... only that the page titles themselves wouldn't require it when linking. I think we can still link to them in the albums page with the episode number using the appropriate wiki linking scheme (001: Whit's Flop), but if someone is adding trivia about "Bobby's Valentine" and wants to talk about "The Trouble with Girls", they shouldn't have to look up the episode number for "The Trouble with Girls". Similarly to how it's done on The Soda Fountain where all album pages, character pages and episode pages list the full name of the show but any trivia or any reference (like in a news blurb or character description) is done using simply the show name, sans the number. I hope that makes sense. Shadowpaw 18:23, 9 May 2007 (PDT)
I figured that's what everyone meant...but I figured get the links in general ready, and then when time permits work on adding the episode number to the link title. I don't have internet yet in my new office at work...so unless someone else works on them, it'll have to wait until I get back this evening. blipadouzi 04:39, 10 May 2007 (PDT)

Incorrect Air Date

Sorry, I don't know how to correct it myself but this episode most definitely did NOT first air "June 4, 2001" as now stated but rather, November 21, 1987.

Hi. Remember, when starting a new topic on talk pages, add a title above your words. I added it for you this time, and you can look at that to see how to do it. Also, please sign your name on talk pages. When you have a page in editing mode, you'll see a reminder at the bottom to do this. Yeah, the first air date is messed up on a lot of the episodes from when the site was down. Reddo will have to fix it. AIOrocks101 (talk) 15:04, 1 February 2016 (MST)
Hi, I think it's fixed now, it might take a day or two for the fix to show up everywhere on the site Reddo (talk) 16:27, 1 February 2016 (MST)
Thanks Reddo. AIOrocks101 (talk) 17:53, 1 February 2016 (MST)
