Personality

Miss Rhonda Adelaide normally has an upbeat personality as a teacher. As of yet she apparently has three functions at Odyssey Middle School. Her services seem to include theater director, some position in advanced placement, and an English teacher.

History

Rhonda Adelaide first appears in #670: “Stage Fright” when she is directing a theater production. Her next appearance is in #699: “Emily the Genius” when she advises Emily Jones that she does not have the advanced intelligence as originally thought. She then appears in #732: “Repent After Me”, again directing a theater production.

During Album 58: The Ties That Bind, details about Rhonda Adelaide's life and personality begin to emerge that were never present before. In #751: “The Ties That Bind, Part 1”, she approaches Whit about hanging a poster for the upcoming "Let's Get Together Festival" at Whit's End to which he says no because the festival promotes values he does not agree with. As a result Whit's End is vandalized and Detective Don Polehaus investigates Rhonda Adelaide in #755: “The Ties That Bind, Part 5” who is evasive and vague about her association with the extremist group the Vigilantors. She also assigns an essay to Emily and Matthew Parker about gender which causes both to ponder how to answer her. In #758: “The Ties That Bind, Part 8” Rhonda Adelaide is revealed to indeed be connected to the Vigilantors but it isn't confirmed if she had anything to do with the vandalism. Later on during a meeting at the Odyssey Business Association, Rhonda Adelaide and Whit have a debate which escalates into an argument when she accuses Whit's worldview of being the reason why her brother is in the hospital. She then storms out asking that Whit change his views.

Family

She has one brother, Randall Edgeworth, who died from an unknown illness. Nothing is known about her spouse, but Adelaide is her married name.
