Upcoming Album Artwork & New Features
Also, we can expect to see five albums with new art from Gary Locke sometime this year (albums 23, 26, 29, 34 and 52), while the remaining new releases will feature existing art that's been re-framed to use a splash background. There's a rumor that out of the four old albums getting new artwork (23, 26, 29 and 34), three of them will be totally new and the other will feature a wedding that has just been re-stylized.
In other news we apologize for our recent downtime over the last 2 days, work was being done upgrading and installing new new features and options to the wiki, things should be fully functional and operational once again.
An All New Adventure
March 06, 2010
At last, the long anticipated premiere of the Spring 2010 Season of Adventures in Odyssey has finally arrived. Our last adventure in Odyssey stopped nearly two years ago, as we heard Connie press the red button on Whit’s newest invention, the Inspiration Station—and the adventure stopped for 1 year, nine months, and twenty days. After the longest hiatus in AIO history, we finally embark on a new adventure, a new discovery, a new journey, a new flight as our imaginations soar into that fictional world of Odyssey. As we each step into our own proverbial Imagination Stations, we wonder, “What will this trip to Odyssey bring? What lessons will we learn? What experiences will we come away with? What will have changed?” Time will tell. But we know this: whatever happens, it’s going to be quite an adventure—it has been from the very beginning. So buckle your seatbelts, and do as Whit told Connie, “Push the red button, (If you dare).” And let the adventure begin...

Album Five Teaser Cover
March 10, 2010
We have received a teaser image for the re-framed cover of Album 05: Daring Deeds, Sinister Schemes, and it can be seen here. The original illustration by Gary Locke had the barn, Whit, and the hill with Dr. Blackgaard standing on top. This can be seen on the tape version. For the CD, it was cropped and only had the bottom half of the image, with Whit and the barn. This new cover has had the hill moved down, so it is directly behind Whit.
Also, don't forget about the Act Like Odyssey Contest. You must send your entry by mail to Focus on the Family and have it postmarked by March 31st.
Album Clues & New Artwork
March 13, 2010
We have received yet another teaser image. It contains clues about albums 51, 52, and 53. After taking a close look, post your finds on this thread at the Town of Odyssey, or if you do not have a ToO account, post here.
The final artwork for Arin's Judgment has been released, and, as expected, the only thing changed were the AIO logo and the scroll removed from behind Arin's Judgment.

As some of you may have noticed the episode section of the character pages have seen a few changes over the last few weeks. We've now completed putting the new system on over 1900 character pages!
We redesigned the episodes section to be in a tabbed system for better organization. The first tab is a new part that lists all the appearances of that character regardless of who voiced it, with subsequent tabs having lists of episodes for each actor that has voiced that character. Another change is that now in brackets behind each episode is the appearance number for that character, and the best part of this new system is that for large pages it's up to 10 times faster!
A similar system has also been put in place on all 558 cast pages with tabs for writer, director, ect.

News Alert from AIO Facebook Page
|“||Please pray for Sound Designer Jonathan Crowe. He was in a severe biking accident and broke/shattered multiple vertebrae in his back. He may need surgery, though they are hoping that a back brace will immobilize him enough. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.||”|
|“||Update on Jonathan Crowe: Jonathan's condition is actually worse than first thought. In addition to the three vertebrae that were fractured, one was completely shattered and the c2, which is the most crucial, is broken more than they first believed. Additionally, he broke vertebrae all the way down his spine, and broke several ribs. He's in a great deal of pain and the doctors haven't ruled out surgery yet. God being who He is, an ER physician was right behind Jonathan and told him to stay still. He then phoned 911. He's not paralyzed, though they have said that he sustained a Christopher Reeve type of injury. via Dave Arnold.||”|
|“||Update: Jonathan is having a much better day, and right now the doctors don't think they'll have to do surgery. I'm sure there will be many more ups and downs during his road to recovery but it's very encouraging to get news like this.
Joyce went back to the site of the accident with some friends and said that the place where Jonathan crashed was full of boulders. He dived head first into them. His helmut absolutely saved his life. That and the prayers of so many good friends.
He's being fitted for a back brace and a halo devise tomorrow. But the great news is that once he recovers he should be able to run and ride again. (Though if he ever rides again I might pummel him myself.) It'll be a long road, but the help and prayers of friends like you all is elevating their spirits. Literally thousands of people have been praying for Jonathan and we simply cannot underestimate what those prayers have accomplished.
Thank God for His mercy. [via Dave Arnold]
|“||Jonathan Crowe update: Jonathan will be fitted for a torso brace and halo devise tomorrow. He continues to be in pain, but as of right now, no surgery will be performed. If all goes well, he could be back home by [the] weekend. God is so very good! via Dave Arnold||”|
|“||From Dave: Jonathan survived the halo traction - he actually says it's a bit more comfortable than the other brace. He was more uncomfortable today and somewhat groggy. He may have a slight concussion from the spill. Sounds as if he'll be released in the next day or two. What an amazing turn of events. Thank God for His generous grace, which abounds in times of trial as much as times of joy. He is so very good.||”|

The new covers for Draven's Defiance and Fendar's Legacy have been released today, you can see them on the books pages or to the right. They're currently scheduled to be released in Spring 2011. Focus on the Family produces content based on what sells well, so if these two books along with the other books and audio in the Passages series have good sales they may produce more.
While you're waiting for these two books to come out you can check out the The Imagination Station Series. There's currently 2 books out in the series with 2 coming out next spring and plans for at least 4 more after that. Focus is hoping that this series will be as long running as the audio series is, so if you like the books get them, it's the best way to ensure more are made. Currently the first two books are available here. You can also write to them and tell them your opinion of new products and your thoughts on what you'd like to see more of at:

Updates all Around
April 27, 2010
There's a whole host of AIO news today, first up there is a new book series being written by Paul McCusker and Marianne Hering about the Imagination Station, the books are aimed at children in the age range of 6-9, there will be two books this fall followed by 2 more books next spring.
Next up is some information about something new that's coming with future AIO albums, the Family fun panel. For each release/rerelease Brock and Diane will be with a family trying to complete a certain task. Each album has a different challenge and you must buy the album to get the instructions for it. If you complete the challenge, and you let Focus know, you can get a button that has the album name on it a picture and what the challenge was. The challenge in album 3 is based off the episode "Karen" and involves writing a letter or a card to someone who is hospitalized or in a nursing home. Album 4 is building a volcano like Robyn and Oscar, and the Lost episodes will be something to do with a family heritage book.
Also there is a new sampler album coming out in February 2011 called Mystery, it will feature the Jones and Parker Detecive agency, we don't know what episodes will be included yet but when we do, we'll let you know.
An upcoming podcast will feature a Q and A with the actors behind the Parker Family, if you want to submit a question leave it in the comments here.
Lastly, what you've all been waiting for, some news on Album 52, we've learned that there will be a Thanksgiving episode as well as a Christmas episode (both single part episodes). Also few detail of the cover have also come to light, the cover for album 52 will feature 3 characters in a clock tower, trying to stop something... What is this something? You'll just have to keep listening to find out.
