History

Cameron is the mischievous friend of David Straussberg. He is only in Out of Our Hands, when he tries to play a prank on Dr. Hawthorne.

David and Cameron are sitting in Dr. Hawthorne's class when Cameron asks David how long it would take to get Dr. Hawthorne off the subject. David says "Two minutes." Cameron counters with 30 seconds, and David starts to time him. Cameron then asks Dr. Hawthorne if he can come in for extra tutoring on Friday. Dr. Hawthorne says no; there will be a substitute. Cameron asks why, and Dr. Hawthorne starts rambling on about a rose competition in Richland. Cameron asks David how long it was, and David, snickering, says eight seconds. Dr. Hawthorne notices them, figures out their plan, and throws both of them in detention. Later, in Biology class, Cameron mentions to David how unfair Dr. Hawthorne is and how he'd like to get back at him. He explains a plan to kill his roses, but David refuses. David later changes his mind, and the two of them meet at Dr. Hawthorne's house on Thursday night. Cameron starts to climb the fence, but is interrupted by Mandy ringing Dr. Hawthorne's doorbell. After David talks to Mandy, he backs out. Cameron mocks David, and David leaves.
