Originally released as Terrific Tales, Mysterious Missions. Aside from the utterly confusing way this album jumps around in its episodes, putting them completely out of any logical order, this is a great album. This album is quite varied in its many storylines, ranging from the stories of everyday kids in Odyssey with interesting solutions by Whit (That's Not Fair, Good Business), to the history of Odyssey (The Ill-Gotten Deed), Whit's End (The Treasure of Le Monde!) and Whit himself (in the spectacular Rescue from Manatugo Point and Operation Digout). This album doesn’t really have any mainly humorous episodes, but it certainly has a broad variety of interesting, creative, and fun stories.

Version Difference

The original version of this album did not feature 82: Heatwave. To fix the chronology with Richard Maxwell's arrival in Gold Audio 5: Daring Deeds, Sinister Schemes, it was switched with 72: An Encounter with Mrs. Hooper.

On the Gold Audio release 90: But, You Promised is included in this album for the first time. It had not previously appeared an any Odyssey Album. The bonus features for this album include "Spare Tire" and "House Guest," forerunners of Adventures in Odyssey that feature Hal Smith ("Whit"), Chuck Bolte ("George Barclay"), and DJ Harner ("Jana"). The Gold Audio release had 13 episodes instead of the usual 12.
